Pics of the beach !!!

Cambodia is nearly surrounded by countries, leaving only a small section open to the sea. So it took us 5 hrs to go to a beach in Kampong Som province. It was so worth it. We left Friday morning and left there Sunday afternoon.

When we first arrived on Friday we only walked around the beach, it was fun but full of tourist.

The next day on Saturday, we rented a boat that took us to an island about 10 min away from the beach called Snake Island. It was nearly deserted, we only saw maybe two other people there. It was so amazing.

Here are fish we caught ....

Back Home !!!

So I am back home in New Jersey, USA. For those that have been following my blog you will notice that I stopped posting for about 3 weeks. This was due to the fact that I was very busy but also something else happened ... I got into a small motorbike accident in the province where I collided with another motorbike. I ended up getting 8 stitches near my eye. Everyone was fine that was involved in the accident. The reason I got cut might be the fact that my glasses frame snapped, where maybe it was the reason that I received a cut. I also ended up getting a black eye from the impact. So the reason I stopped posting was that I didn't want my family to worry so I didn't have any pictures with out me having a black eye. So now that I am back in the states and my family and friends know, I am going to post some pictures of the last three weeks that I was in Cambodia ...

Other Pics from the Siem Reap Trip.

Here are other pictures from temples we visited in Siem Reap near Angkor Wat.

This temple was my favorite, although I do not know its name. The temple was engulfed in tree roots. Pretty awesome.

Siem Reap ... Angkor Wat !!!

Angkor Wat is one of the seven ancient wonders. It is located in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It was originally a Hindu temple, later on converted to a Buddhist temple. There are many other temples around Angkor Wat. One of the coolest thing that you can see in Angkor Wat is the sunrise, where the temple's reflection can be seen in the body of water next to it. We woke up 3:30 AM to catch the sunrise. It was quite a sight !!!

Floating Village in Siem Reap !!!

Before visiting Angkor Wat, we decided to check out one of the Floating Villages. Basically, it is a village that is located in the middle of the river where the houses are floating on the water. It was quite a site to see. Pretty cool ...
Obviously, we needed a boat to get there. Here is a pictures of what we saw.

We left Phnom Pehn at 7:30 AM.
